The same issue happened while connecting my keyboard. None of the fixes mentioned in any of the videos or blogs worked. Just unplug the keyboard and try it in another device (Laptop) - boom it will work. Reconnect back to the existing device (PC). This hack worked for me.

After I accidentally switched my admin privileges to user, i couldnt do a lot of things on PC. I was getting desperate lol thank you so much! Solution 2 helped a lot
